Job Description
We are seeking an FPGA Verification Engineer with ability work with real-time embedded FPGA verification.
The ideal candidate will be capable of reliably implement a verification strategy as directed and in alignment with verification lifecycles to satisfy DO-254 objectives.
Location: The role can be onsite (CT) or hybrid.
Responsibilities
- Perform verification activities as directed for embedded FPGA aerospace and defense systems including but not limited to artifact review, test case/test procedure development, analysis and results compilation.
- Collaborate with team members and project leadership.
- Ensure compliance of FPGA verification artifacts in accordance with DO-254 and AC 20-152A objectives.
- Able to work with a variety of testing strategies such as simulation, integration, target hardware, and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments.
- Efficient and accurate implementation of hardware design in alignment with device-level requirements while maintaining accurate traceability.
- Identify, isolate, and analyze verification findings.
- Support verification efforts in alignment to developed schedules and quality objectives while interfacing with stakeholders to communicate technical status.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering, science, or technical discipline.
- Strong understanding of:
- Engineering principles
- VHDL, Verilog and SystemVerilog or similar hardware design languages
- Python and other equivalent scripting languages
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigation skills.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- U.S. Citizenship is required. Dual citizenship should be disclosed.
- Possibility of travel up to two weeks per year.
